Peter Abel – President / CEO and Co-Founder

Pete Abel has been in the film industry since his days as a camera and optical technician in 1979.

Since the company’s inception, Pete has guided Abel Cine Tech’s strategic and business development, building a small family-run service operation into today’s multi-channel organization.

In the role of business development, Pete works with the Product Managers to determine which new technologies and services to bring into the company. He also serves as the company’s Director of Marketing.

Pete also served as the company’s Sales Director until 2007 and continues to work closely with the sales department, nurturing strategic relationships with both clients and manufacturers.

  
Richard Abel – Vice President / COO and Co-Founder

Since establishing Abel Cine Tech in 1989, Rich Abel has been directing the company’s operations and guiding the development of AbelCine’s service, product development and research related departments.

Rich’s industry experience began on the bench, as a camera technician in 1983. Today, as head of operations, Rich is a driving force behind the company’s IT and systems strategies, inventory and fulfillment development, and administrative operations.

Rich served as the company’s Rental Director until 2002 and the Service Manager until 2007. He continues to work closely with these management teams on development and growth.

Henry Jiang – Chief Financial Officer

Henry Jiang, Chief Financial Officer, has over 15 years of experience in corporate accounting and finance management. Prior to joining AbelCine in 2004, Henry gained a broad range of experience in the corporate finance field working for multinational corporations, especially in budgeting, asset management, internal auditing and financial reporting. In addition, he also led performance management teams and managed engineering projects, having come from an engineering background.

Henry received his MBA in Finance and International Business Management from Stern School of Business, New York University. He is a Certified Public Accountant, registered in the State of New York.
