The C500 looks very similar to the C300, but includes some major improvements. The big news is that it can output raw sensor data before de-Bayering over SDI. The 4K camera data can be sent out over 3G-SDI connectors as 10-bit raw data. With two 3G-SDI outputs, the camera can also pump out HD, 2K (2048×1080) and Quad HD (3840×2160) formats. The camera also has two monitor HD-SDI outputs for on-board and on-set monitoring. All 4K formats can be selected to operate from one to 60 frames per second. The camera has a 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 signal format during 2K output, which can be selected to operate from one to 60 frames-per-second (fps) as well. If switched to a 10-bit YCrCb 4:2:2 mode, the camera can operate up to 120 fps. These features are very impressive and first of their kind in the market.

The C100 is a scaled down version of the C300 in terms of size and price; it is both shorter and thinner than its bigger brothers, and weighs nearly a pound less (2.2lbs stripped down). Gone is the removable LCD unit; instead the C100 has a removable handle with XLR inputs and a flip-out LCD on the back. It features a the same 4K sensor found in the C300 and C500, which means that the C100 has the same ISO range (320-20,000), dynamic range and image quality as the C300. Canon Log and all the other custom profile adjustments are also available. Other features of this camera include EF lens mount, built-in ND Filters, HDMI output and more.
The CN-15.5-47mm T2.8 L and the CN-E 30-105mm T2.8 both cover beyond Super-35 (31.4mm image circle, full coverage of RED 5K), weigh just 4.8lbs, and are less than nine inches in length. The front diameter for both zooms is 114mm (internal threading for 105mm front filter), and both lenses focus to two feet or less from the image plane with minimal image breathing. They also feature 11-blade irises and 300-degree rotation on the focus ring. The new zooms will be available in PL or EF mounts.
