Thursday, 31 May 2012
AbelCine will be exhibiting at Cine Gear Expo in LA, June 1-3, at booth #S222. Here’s a preview of what we’ll be showing.
Phantom Miro M320S
This breakthough camera from Vision Research offers an unprecedented combination of performance, mobility and affordability. With a 12-bit, 2-megapixel CMOS sensor, 1920×1080 resolution at 1540 fps and 1100 ISO, there is no compromise on quality. We’ll be showing the Miro M320S kitted out with AbelCine-developed accessories, so come see how you can affordably add Phantom high-speed to your projects.
Introduced at NAB 2011, the Sony F65 Super 35mm cinema camera has really begun to make its mark on the industry this year. It features a 20M 8K sensor as well as 14 stops of dynamic range; additionally, the file-based SR Codec recording ensures a fast, efficient workflow. At our booth, we will be showing off the camera fully equipped with accessories.
The ALEXA Studio Digital Cinema camera builds on the design of the ALEXA and ALEXA+ cameras. It adds an optical viewfinder system with a spinning mirror reflex viewing system that is compatible with standard ARRI groundglasses and extension viewfinders. The ALEXA Studio also utilizes a Super-35mm sized 4:3 ALEV-III sensor, which is the proper size to work with anamorphic lenses.
Canon C300 and Lenses
Canon’s C300 is the development of their HDSLR technology into a full-featured video camera. We will also be showing two new Canon Cinema Zooms that were introduced at NAB, the Canon CN-E 30-300mm T2.95-3.7 and the Canon CN-E 14.5-60mm T2.6.
