Abel’s Featured Gear at the Entertainment Technology Expo
Wednesday, 15 September 2010
Createasphere’s Entertainment Technology Exposition is taking place on September 21-22 in New York (details). Once again, Abel will be exhibiting at the show, as well as participating in some of the training sessions planned for the event.
Abel’s booth #202 will feature some of the best tools for filmmakers working in all disciplines from digital cinema to HDSLR. Here’s a look at some of the gear we will have on display.
Abel is in a unique position to offer some of the most innovative film and digital cinema cameras available today. Stop by to view the Phantom Flex high-speed HD camera from Vision Research, the ARRI ALEXA digital cinema camera, Sony’s SRW-9000 HDCAM SR camera and the Aaton Penelope 35mm film camera. Our experts will be on hand to answer your questions and guide you to the tools that are best suited for your application.
Abel’s Mitch Gross will present the Phantom Flex at a special session on Tuesday afternoon. Click here for more information or to RSVP. Also at the Expo this year will be a major announcement from Sony concerning their 35mm camera lineup – click here for details and an invitation.
Everyone’s talking about 3D, and our booth will feature the brand-new Panasonic AG-3DA1 camera. Abel will have a complete 3D system at our booth including Panasonic’s new 3D monitor and the nanoFlash 3D. Talk to our technical staff about how you can enter the world of 3D production.
Of course, HDSLR is still hot, and we will be showcasing some of the best gear for this arena too. Check out our packages for the Hot Rod 7D-PL Mod, the Canon 7D and Canon 5D Mark II, featuring Zeiss CP.2 compact primes.
There will be much more to see and play with at the Abel booth including some of our exclusive products: the ASL Gear Compact T-Bag splashbag, Creamsource and Ianiro IANILED54 lighting fixtures. We’ll have the new Cinedeck EXTREME, as well as optics from Zeiss and Schneider. There will be plenty of camera accessories too, including the debut of new OConnor accessories.
